Yeti Ice Bar
The ice bar in El Calafate, designed to provide an incredible visual experience amidst good music and delicious cocktails.

A unique opportunity to walk on one of the world's most iconic glaciers, in the heart of Los Glaciares National Park. This experience combines boating, guided trekking, and the use of specialized equipment to safely explore the ancient ice. It's ideal for those seeking direct and active contact with this breathtaking natural environment.
The Minitrekking excursion on the Perito Moreno Glacier is a guided experience that combines navigation, hiking and a crossing on the ice, within the Los Glaciares National Park, departing from the city of El Calafate.
The day begins with the transfer of passengers from El Calafate in comfortable buses (if transfers are included). During the journey to the park (approximately 70 km), the guides provide information about the surroundings, the glacier, and the activity. Upon arrival at the Bajo de las Sombras port, a 20-minute boat trip across Lake Rico offers direct views of the imposing southern face of the Perito Moreno Glacier.
After disembarking on the opposite shore, passengers are greeted by expert mountain guides and taken to a refuge with a privileged view of the glacier. From there, a hike along the lake shore begins, during which it is possible to observe ice calving. Along this stretch, the guides offer an introductory talk on glaciology.
Upon reaching the edge of the glacier, small groups are formed (maximum 20 people, with a high level of personalization: one guide for every 10 passengers). The necessary equipment—crampons and helmet—is provided, and a safety briefing is given before beginning the trek on the ice. The glacier trek is of medium difficulty; although the surface is uneven, it is firm and safe. During the trek, typical formations such as deep crevasses, sinkholes, seracs, and lagoons with intense shades of blue and turquoise are observed.
After the walk on the ice, the route continues through the periglacial zone and along the lateral moraine, offering panoramic views of the glacier, mountains, and lake. The return journey follows a trail through the Patagonian Andean forest. The entire hike takes about three hours, with approximately one hour spent on the ice. At the end of the hike, a hot drink and a souvenir are provided at the refuge.
Then, you return by boat to the Bajo de las Sombras port, admiring the glacier's enormous walls from the lake. The complete excursion, including transfers, lasts approximately ten hours and also includes a one-hour visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier walkways, where you can explore self-guided trails and enjoy panoramic views. For those traveling independently, the trip from the port takes about four and a half hours.
As it takes place in a natural environment, weather and glacier conditions can vary daily. The excursion is only carried out when safety conditions permit.
