Who we are
What to Do Argentina is a travel agency with offices in Buenos Aires. We are responsible for the personal data you share with us on this website and through our customer channels.
What data we collect
The data you give us when you ask or book: name, email, phone, dates, number of travelers and trip preferences.
The messages you send us on WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger, together with your profile name, so we can reply and follow up on your request.
Anonymous browsing data (pages viewed, traffic source and device) through our own cookies and measurement tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the Meta Pixel.
When we send you an email, we record whether it is opened and whether you click its links, so we know it reached you.
How we use it
To answer your questions, prepare proposals, manage bookings and payments, and support you before and during your trip.
To measure and improve the website and our campaigns. We do not sell your data.
Legal basis
We use your data to answer your enquiries and organise your trip when you ask us to, to meet legal and accounting obligations and, for measurement and advertising cookies, with your consent where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
Only with those who make your trip possible (hotels, operators and guides) and with service providers: Stripe for card payments, Google and Meta for measurement and messaging, and our hosting provider. Each of them handles data under its own policies.
Some of these providers, such as Google, Meta and Stripe, process data outside your country, for example in the United States, with the safeguards required by law. Argentina has an adequacy decision from the European Commission, which recognises it as a country with an adequate level of data protection.
The office map on the Contact page uses OpenStreetMap images: when it is shown, your browser requests them from the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which receives your IP address. It does not use cookies.
How long we keep it
Requests and conversations are kept while they are useful to serve you and for the periods required by accounting and tax rules. Browsing data is deleted after 90 days.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, update or deletion of your data at any time, free of charge, under Argentine Personal Data Protection Law 25,326. The Agency for Access to Public Information is the supervisory authority and handles complaints.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you also have the rights granted by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or your country's equivalent law: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawing your consent at any time. You can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Cookies
Cookies are small files the site stores in your browser. We use necessary cookies to make the site work and others to measure visits and campaigns.
If you browse from Europe, we show you the notice and measurement and advertising cookies stay off until you accept them. We detect this from your device's time zone, and Google also from your connection, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. In all other countries they are on from the start. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" button on this page or at the bottom of the site.
